Wanderlust - South Tyrol holidays

The hiking experience

A South Tyrol holiday without some hiking is – well – not a South Tyrol holiday. So, if you stay at the Hotel Villa Groff, you should take the opportunity to explore the surrounding area on foot. Spring and autumn are the best times for tours in the valley, when the temperatures are mild and you can experience the orchards and vineyards in bloom or during harvest time. In summer, we recommend exploring the slopes and mountains high above the valleys.

Das mystische Castelfeder

Around Castelfeder, hiking trails cross an area that has a very special aura. On the one hand, that is due to the primeval settlement remains and mystical sacrificial sites, as well as the traces left here by the Raetians and Romans. But it is also thanks to the unique nature in this biotope and, last but not least, thanks to the views you can enjoy from here into the valley.
